Product Review: Etude House Moonlight in Spoon Blending Sleeping Cream

The packaging for these has been living in my skincare basket for an embarrassingly long time, reminding me nightly that I’ve been putting off my review of them.

The Etude House Moonlight in Spoon Blending Sleeping Cream is kind of neat because it’s a spoonful of watery gel with a dollop of thicker cream that you have to mix together. Hence the name “blending cream.”

Product Review: Skin&Lab Dr. Color Effect Red Serum

My second-most important skincare goal has always been brightening and evening my skintone. For basically as long as I can remember, my face has been red. Not rosacea/sunburn red…more like “scrubbed your face too hard and now it’s splotchy in places” red. Except it was like that no matter what.

Since I started my journey down the Asian beauty rabbit hole, I’m always on the lookout for a new brightening product, especially one that has multiple functions. So when I came across Skin & Lab’s Red Serum, I was intrigued.

How To Determine Your Skin Type

One of the most common questions I see among skincare newbies is, “how do I figure out my skin type?”

Product Review: Dear By Enprani Softfull Booskin

Before purchasing this toner, I tried to be a responsible addict blogger and research it first! Turns out that while there are roughly 12,748 reviews of the Dear by Enprani Moistfull Booskin toner, there are approximately zero reviews of the Softfull Booskin toner. Like really zero. I looked everywhere. To my knowledge it isn’t discontinued or anything (it’s still available for purchase on several websites), so I was surprised that there was just so much…nothing.

Prior to this, I was pretty firmly in the “toners are a waste of time and money” camp. I still think that most of them are just hype, but I’m making an exception for this one.

Even Tiny Snail Squad approves, and they are a salty bunch.

Product Review: MiraCurl by BaByliss Pro

My hair and I are constantly fighting. When I want my curls to behave, they’re unruly or refuse to curl. When I want my hair to be straight, it decides that’s the perfect time to get curly. Normally I just use some mousse, a diffuser, a 3/4″ curling iron and a quick prayer to The Hair Gods to tame the wild beast, but it isn’t always enough.

For reference, my hair is somewhere between a 2C and 3A on the curly hair charts and frizzy as all hell most of the time. This chart will show you what that looks like and help you determine your own hair type if you’re interested.
